In the heart of Brazil, PANTANAL, the largest wetland in the world and home of amazing biodiversity, is facing dramatic threats. Fires, deforestation and predatory human actions are causing large-scale disruption of ecological processes. Luciano Candisani, an awarded conservationist photographer, shows the efforts of volunteers and engaged professionals to reveal how they are committed to shed light and bring awareness to save this natural heritage site from irreversible catastrophes.
